This is one of Leonardo Da Vinci anatomy drawings. Da Vinci was born in 1452, he was considered as an artist an engineer an architect an astronomer a mathematician and a geologist. I really like his style of drawings and the lay out of his sketchbooks. His drawings are very precise and in proportion, I enjoy looking at Da Vinci's work.

Using circles to create work in a 3D class

These are the five photographs I chose to display of Chesterfield.  I chose the Pigeon because when I think of Chesterfield town centre  it makes me think of pigeons, but I suppose that pigeons could be from any town centre. As I was taking this photo I felt that the pigeon was posing for me :)

I took this because I walk this way to town most days, I find it amusing that they sell maps of Chesterfield to tourists. I have never really thought of people being tourists in Chesterfield.

I like the reflection in the glass of the old man drinking his tea in this photo and I didn't realise I had captured the reflection in the glass until looking more closely at the photograph.

I like the contrast in this photo from the really bright sky to the darker part of the street scene.

Hear is one of the smaller ally's in Chesterfield, in the background is the oldest pub in Chesterfield, I never realised that's what is was before I read the sign for it.

I really enjoy looking at this photo by Meyerowitz,  I think the colours in the photograph and the compstion work really well together. As most of the photo has dark tones in you get the odd dash of colour with the yellow and whites and the blueness of the sky. You really get the feel of a busy new york in this photo.

William Eggleston. The ladies hair in this photo makes me smile, it looks as if she has spent alot of time doing it up for the meal out with this gentleman across the table. It makes me think that the lady enjoys the finer things in life such as nice hair, posh jewellery and smoking a cig as it was fashionable to do in the time that this picture looks to be taken in. However they are eating in a diner and not a fancy restaurant were I feel this is were she would rather be.

I really like this photo by Martin Parr. He has captured the best bit about the British sea side the ice cream! you can just imagin the day this cheeky looking pair have had. Playing on the beach and in the sea on not a grate day for the weather as it looks but a grate day for memories.

I took this photograph in the west block of college, having used this corridor many times and never noticing this particular light switch before I was quite exited to see an old fashioned light switch like this still in college. This is why I decided to have this as one of the thee pictures. After listening to our tutors talk at the beginning of the class about composition I did as he advised and put the light switch off centre in the shot, If I would have had more time I would have experimented more with the light switch and the compositions of the shot.

I thought that this was my strongest picture from the main entrance category, because its part of the main entrance that you would not normally look from or have any reason standing there. When I looked at this photograph after I had taken it, it made me think of someone hiding or someone snooping round a corner spying on someone.

I feel that this is the best photograph from the series of photos from the student services area, All of the other photos I took were close ups and the camera I was using wasn't working well when it came to close ups, they all came out blurry. I like this photograph because of the view point and the texture between the wood and the gaps
