Whilst on a trip to London on the 1st of December I went to the V&A to see the Power of Making exhibition. I really enjoyed this exhibition. I love to make things and this exhibition was the best one I've seen for me because it was full of craft and things I find interesting.

This grenade perfume bottle relates to my new project at college which is called perfume. This bottle was hand made with glass using traditional glass techniques. On Monday the 28th of November I went on a glass and ceramic workshop to Sunderland University I really enjoyed the glass workshop and having never done glass before I found it really interesting but I understand how hard this area of work can be and I admire this work and this artist because I can imagine and appreciate the time and effort put into this work by creating samples and developing the work so its all the right shape and the grenade looks like a grenade.

Crochet Bear. I loved this work I have tried to learn how to crochet and find it difficult and to see that the whole of the outside of the bear has been crocheted I was amazed I think its a fantastic piece of work. And I will one day lean how to crochet :)

I love knitting and when I saw this at the exhibition I totally fell in love with this piece 18 sheep were sheered for this work and I love the size of the piece and the size of the knitting needles.

I loved these I couldn't believe how tiny they were. These really are amazing little pieces of work :)

This was my favourite part of the whole exhibition. The moment I saw this piece I fell in love with it. Its simpleness and pattern just won me over :)
